An ADHD-Friendly Way to Close the Year 🌱

ADHD Delta Newsletter

Hello!✨

We’re now in that weird in-between time — when part of us wants to sprint into the new year and another part just wants to curl up and forget calendars exist.

This time of year can bring a lot of noise: reflection prompts, goal-setting, “new year, new you” messages. For many people with ADHD, that pressure can quickly turn into shutdown or self-criticism. So, if you’ve ever felt stuck in the “should do / can’t do” loop this time of year, you’re in excellent company.

I’ve written a new blog that takes a brain-friendly, low-pressure approach to closing the year.

👉 Let’s Close This Year With Kindness (And a Brain-Friendly Reset)

Inside, I share:

  • Why end-of-year reflection often feels hard with ADHD
  • What a kind reset actually looks like
  • How to reflect without overwhelm or productivity guilt

And because one size never fits ADHD brains, I’ve created three gentle reflection tools, depending on where your energy is right now:

🌱 Option 1: End-of-Year ADHD Reflection

A deeper but still supportive reflection for adults, young people and uni students who want to pause and gently reset.

👨‍👩‍👧 Option 2: Parent + Teen Co-Reflection

A guided conversation tool to help parents and teens reflect together — without lectures, pressure or blame.

⚡ Option 3: ADHD Quick Reflection (Low-Energy Days)

A two-page, 5-minute check-in for burnout days, shutdowns or when your brain just can’t do more.

💬 A Reminder (From Me to You)

You don’t need a perfect plan to step into 2026. You just need one meaningful intention — something that lights you up, not shames you.

Your brain isn’t a problem to be fixed — it’s a system to be understood and worked with.

Last, but not least - Thank You!

As 2025 comes to a close, I just want to say thank you.

Whether you’ve worked with me this year, read the blogs, downloaded a resource, or quietly followed along — I’m genuinely grateful. Supporting ADHD brains in a kinder, more realistic way is something I care deeply about, and I don’t take your trust or time lightly.

Here's to finishing this year with curiosity, not judgement. And stepping into next year with clarity — not chaos.
